The 7th Annual International Training Course

The Faculty of Environmental Management, Prince of Songkla Universty has organized the 7th International Training on Global Warming Mitigation and Adaptation by Sustainable Energy Management from 14th – 30th March, 2018. This course pays attention to the area of the environmental, social and economic issues at Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Songkhla. which supported by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A total of 18 participants from difference parts of the world such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Guinea, Kyrgyz Republic, Madagascar, Malawi, Mongolia, Myanmar, Niger, Philippines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Samoa, Suriname, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Zambia, and they had the great chance to listen special lecture from various expert researchers. During the program, the participants had the opportunities to visit many places such as SPCG Public Company Limited at Bangkok, Chana Power Plant at Songkhla, and Municipal Solid Waste Power Plant at Phuket, took a city tour around Songkhla city to learn about the Southern Thai culture.

The GSEM 2018 Training Director, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kuaanan Techato addressed a short speech at the closing ceremony and gave a certificate to the participants.
